The Darjeeling Hill Institute of Technology and Management (DHITM) is a new educational institution focused on engineering and management, located in Takdah (near Darjeeling) and officially organized under the Orissa Child Welfare & Education Trust in collaboration with the Gorkha Territorial Administration. DHITM is set about 6,000 feet up among magnificent tea gardens over a generous 15‑acre dedicated campus. The university offers a four‑year undergraduate degree in engineering, a B.Tech in computer science (with AI & ML), mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering, and a bachelor's in hotel management.
